Workshop - Orticanoodles - Revisit Frida Kahlo

Orticanoodles is the pseudonym of a collective made up of two Italian artists, Wally and Alita. They took the pseudonym of Orticanoodles in reference to the Ortica district in Milan where they set up their workshop. 

Wally was born in the city of Carrara in Italy, where he studied Art History. The most recent works, such as Stencil on Stencil (literally stencil on stencil) present a collection of portraits of celebrities, artists, such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Picasso or Samuel Beckett combined with writings , thus creating a mutual relationship between the subject and its message.

The work Rosa Nera is a faithful and representative tribute to Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican painter of the 20th century. The work is a stencil made with an aerosol spray on a palisade made up of successive boards. The choice of material is not hazardous since the artists are inspired by the Arte Povera movement.

2. Workshop from 3:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
3. Price 12€ per child - 14€ per adult
4. No prerequisites required, it's really about discovering an artist, a medium and a way of creating a work, so there's nothing to be apprehensive about.
5. The workshop is introduced by 5 minutes of mediation around the works, the rest of the time is devoted to the practice
6. The material is provided and everyone leaves with their work. Provide blouse
7. Everyone has free access to the exhibitions before or after the workshop
8. Any workshop that has not been canceled 24 hours in advance cannot be refunded.
9. Remember to take clothes for painting.
