20 Oct 2021, 19:00
Bordeaux, 16 rue de Tivoli, 33000 Bordeaux, France
About the event
Bordeaux artist from Creusot, he is part of the Collectif Douze Films in which he works as an audiovisual technician, photographer and graphic designer. Also a musician since his adolescence, he is a drummer for various groups (eg Fantöms and Spell Shelter) thanks to which he familiarized himself with the Bordeaux scene.
Art in all its forms fascinates him and his boundless curiosity leads him every day towards new experiments, new attempts, new creative research.
His know-how and his audacity led him to create different characters with various techniques: cartoons, modelling, silicone molding, resin, etc. He will then combine these creations with his competence in the audiovisual sector to devote himself to his ambition: to express movement through the fixed image.
After making a short animated film at Douze Films, Adrien Schiavone was asked by several structures, then he orchestrated the creation of an animated film for the scenography of the live performance "Les contes de Maméké" ( AVDV company – 2016).
Today, supported by the Douze Films team, he devotes himself to his creative work.

SENS RELIEF EXHIBITION
Without really knowing how or why, Art has always been part of my life. Creating has become a reflex, a daily need. I create by reflex, by need. It's my mode of communication.
However, the term “Art” has always intimidated me, it seems formal and theorizing to me. He intellectualizes something visceral, instinctive.
To call oneself an artist seems abstract to me. For me, Art is above all an unlimited field of experimentation.
It is a means of creating a language, of materializing one's imagination, one's ideals, one's dreams. It is a means of saying, of showing, of transmitting, without the need for words.
This series of paintings is produced thanks to the assembly of the various plans drawn in black and white. It depicts the life of an imagined character. Over the course of the creations, it has become a companion, a kind of mirror on my reality.
A work of highlighting allowed me to create movement in the fixed, the impulse in the frozen, the depth of field inspired by cinematographic codes.
